Marketers and managers are an important part of the business landscape for many types of organizations, helping them grow their businesses, create new opportunities, and improve processes. Entry-level marketers and managers perform a very wide set of tasks, ranging from creating and running campaigns to generate sales, running reports on financial performance, managing customer relationships, and much more.

Students in IMBC’s Business Administration – Marketing and Management Specialized Associate Degree (A.S.B.) program will gain both practical and theoretical knowledge of marketing and management procedures.

Fundamental accounting courses will introduce the student to basic accounting principles. General and specialized marketing and management courses will provide the student with a diverse background necessary to be successful in an entry-level marketing and management career.

Workers in these fields will typically work in an office environment, using a computer and specialized business software.

Students will also learn to use Microsoft Word to gain the ability to create many types of documents, such as letters, memos, and reports.

A course in Microsoft Excel teaches concepts and applications, such as entering common spreadsheet formulas, sorting data, and exporting files.

Since this is a specialized associate degree program, you will also take general courses, such as psychology, public speaking, and more.

Toward the completion of your program, all students will participate in a practicum that lets you practice your new skills in a real business setting with professional supervision.
