The Institute of Medical and Business Careers is market-driven, focusing both on the needs of our students and the needs of our students’ future employers. We are measured by our graduates’ success. We succeed when we provide our graduates with the skills necessary to help them achieve the career they want.

The Institute of Medical and Business Careers is serious about helping our graduates find jobs. Our staff, along with members of the faculty, help students achieve real-life positions in their chosen fields. Although the school does not guarantee placement, the school makes every effort to assist students in securing employment.

CERTIFICATION

Students enrolled at IMBC Erie are encouraged to sit for the professional certification examinations in their majors. Students are encouraged to take certification exams as a means to gauge levels of expertise for potential employers, as successfully passing industry-standard certification exams enhance students’ employment opportunities. IMBC believes students passing certification exams have a more competitive employment advantage over students without certifications.

IMBC will pay a licensure exam fee and/or certification exam fee for graduates depending on the career training program. Please see individual Program Description for details. The following is a list of certifications in the various career training programs:

American Medical Technologists:

In other words, we continue to share job opportunities even after the Institute of Medical and Business Careers’ graduate has secured employment!!
