IMBC’s new HVAC/R program can teach you the skills you need to launch a stable and in-demand career in just one year. Offered at our Erie campus, it offers hands-on training in heating, cooling, refrigeration, and controls, as well as EPA 608 certification prep and built-in job readiness training.

Designed to be completed in approximately 9 months, our HVAC/R technology program focuses on practical skills, so you can practice the skills employers are looking for. Using jobsite simulations, you’ll learn:

  • The fundamentals of electrical, heating and cooling systems
  • Refrigeration management
  • Duct system and air distribution system design
  • Industrial safety and OSHA regulation
